Roentgeno-Cephalometric Studies on the Maxillofacial Profile.

Abstract
|
|
|
The purpose of this investigation can be sought for studying normal variations and growth changes in the facial profile by the cephalometric roentgenography. The analysis was performed in such various age groups as 5,10,15, and 20 years of age by Bjorks modification.
The results were as follows ;
1. Author made the table and figure in various age groups of male and female.
2. It was showed that the length of cephalometric points were longer in females of same age groups.
3. In angular measurements it was showed that ID-DD-KK and DD-KK-Ar in females were greater than those of males.
4. As age increases, facial length and angulation was increased.
5. It was noted that the growth rate in maxillofacial region was peaked at the range of 10 to 15 years of age.
